Welcome to The Dogs of Racing Endurance League (TDoREL)

Who are we?

The Dogs of Racing Endurance League was created for the sole purpose of fulfiling a gap in racing that was not being met with other leagues, or official iRacing series.

Creating a safe driving environment for racers of all skill levels, where there is a constant variety of options and unique racing situations seen no place else.

We use the entire collection of both vehicles and tracks that iRacing has to offer, focusing especially in creating unique vehicle combinations on layouts that are rarely, if ever used anywhere else.

Our vehicle system uses a 4-class rotation system based on iRacing's listed power/weight ratios.  Starting from the theoretically slowest vehicles, ALL STYLES of vehicles are then slowly rotated through the roster.  While we try to make sure that all styles of vehicles are represented every week, after every weekend, each vehicle's actual usage in our 2 main events is totalled, then averaged over the current, and previous week.  The two vehicles that have had the least use, are then eliminated, and the next two vehicles based on power/weight, are rotated in.  We do not adhere to traditional "Styles" of vehicle, such as Open Wheel, GT, Oval, or Prototype, thus ANY vehicle can, and most likely will be out on the track at the same time, with very surprising results!

As for our track selection, each season, we hold a members-only vote which lasts for up to 9 weeks, allowing members to select as many, or as little tracks that they would like to see in the following season.  Members are allowed to change their selections right up until week 11, when all polls close for determining the next season.  In keeping with the variety aspect, we strive to ensure that all styles of tracks are used in each season, those being "Pure Oval", "Pure Road" and "Combination Tracks".  There is a minimum of each stlye to make it into the following season, however there is always some "Floating" track selections that are purely based on total vote count, irregardless of style.  As well, for any track that is selected, we try to use the least used layouts first, then ensure that each subsequent time that track rolls through, a different layout is utilized, until all have been driven on.

Drivers of all skill levels are welcome, and we only ask for a few minor requirements for membership.  Those being that all members treat each other with respect, maintain a minimum of 15 corners/incident in our main league races (this is equivilant to Rookie 3.0SR), and that all members attend a minimum of 3 races per season.

Other points to mention that this league has to offer:

~ Private TeamSpeak Server for member use

~ All events are open setup, but for those who are setup challenged, we strongly recommend getting iRacing Setup Sync

~ Currently 3 seperate, open practice session available every weekday to ensure driver readiness for our weekend events

~ League Forums for communication and discussion

~ Friendly comraderie and racing with people you can learn to trust on the track, in any situation

~ Even a bunch of willing shoulders to lean on when you're having one of "Those Days"

Lastly, unlike many leagues on the iRacing service, we don't charge a fee to join the league, or remain a member.  However, we do ask that if you enjoy the league, and want to help support it, then feel free to donate what you feel is appropriate to the league fund.  All donations go towards the costs of sessions, as well as any other league costs such as domain costs etc.
